Market Place & my homestay

it's my third day at school

it's a bubble tea shop..

there are many bubble tea shops in Vancouver..

it's typical of Taiwan Foods.

but a little expensive here...

haha~

today I  finished class too early ...

and gonna meet Pei-Chi & Sophia at 4 pm..

I have one and half hour so I decide to go to the library...

but I have no idea about how to go there...

first I went to the Art Gallery, I thought it's the library..

then the staff told me the Vancouver Public Library is between Georige St. and Cambie St.

sounds very far...

but I still walked to there after I asked 3 or 4 people on the way with my poor English...

haha..

and I spent one hour to the Vancouver Public Library...

but I remember I can take bus No. 5 on the next street-Robson St....

so I just spend 30 minutes to my school from the VPL

I told mom this story, she said I'm so smart...^_^

and I went to Market Place to meet the fruits...

Avadaco~~my first time to see this food..

so special~

leechi~Taiwan fruit...I love it...

but looks not so good here..

breads~

French breads...

starbucks coffe & some cosmetics

I don't know what this is ..

and I have never tasted ..

there are so many this kind of food in Vancouver markets...

I guess it's kind of pickled food~

my host family went out so I took some pics of my homestay...

and enjoyed my lovely Canada life except the dry dinner~

my homestay is close to downtown so it's quit small..

and the meals are so bad..

wanna share something happened at class...

I'm so happy....haha..

the teacher asked the guys has to pick one girl to be their partner...

a Japanese boy, Katsu, chose me...

He is so funny and I can understand his English...

and we changed the email address each other...

haha~

I love Vancouver, I love Canada~

my dairy on that day.

厚好累每天都很累

今天很crazy....下課後我自己一個人走去圖書館

而且我完全不知道圖書館在哪？

就自己到處問路：走了快一小時才找到…

哈哈…

剛跟娘在skype上聊

娘一直說我很聰明說的我都不好意思起來…

哈哈…

今天還有一件很讚的事就是早上老師叫男生選一個女生當partner時…

有個日本人Katsu自己選我吶…

讓我很高興…因為他講的英文我聽的懂而且他很funny..

我們還交換了mail哦…

而且我發現一件事好多日本人都是拿工作簽證來這的吶

mami跟yoko...kyoko好像也是…

所以他們可以在這待一年吶…

真好…

但我也沒很想在這待一年啦：哈哈

超想吃鼎王的  現在

還有娘煮的雞湯哦my god.............

first step in Canada

my second day in Vancouver..

(not sure, because ....when  I arrived Canada,

I forgot to change my camera's time, some pics' time has time difference.)

the evening comes at 9 or 10 pm...

it's special to me...

in Taiwan, the sky becomes dark at 5 or 6 pm..

this is my room..

my cosmetics from Taiwan..

I brought many cosmetics so i can save money to buy others, haha~

Darren, my father's cousin's son...

it's also my first time to know my dad has a cousin in Canada..

I have never seen her..

it's my first step in Canada...

coz host-mom, Robyn, she taught me how to go to my school by car...

it's really bad...

so I go to my school by bus again...

"by myself"

and after a week I found the best way to school...

yeah...my new life is coming~

they came for my leaving..

they r my co-worker in Taishin Bank..

Cindy is my best fd till now..and forever!!

thx for Dadi & Mami's support...

therefore I don't have to worry about any thing...

it's my frist time to go abroad,

my first time to take a plane..

and I went there alone...

many fds are surprised to this...

becus almost of people thought I'm a dependent girl...

can't live without others...

but I did it !!!

and all the money I spent are from my salary, I didn't ask the money from parents...

it's quit important to me~ 

whoo. whoo...so exciting~~

first time to see the airplane such close to me~

first time to sit on the plane...

haha...so many first times~ 

the destination is Vancouver..

and I transfer at Hong Kong airport...

the view is from Taiwan to Hong Kong~ 

everything is fresh to me...

it's first time to see the clouds...

so I took lots of pic of the view~

it's like candyfloss...

so charming~  

wow~gonna land to Hong Kong...

I saw the port..

yeah~

the meal on the plane...

from HK to Vancouver,

and the flight attendants speak English...

but at that time my English skill is really poor,

so when she gave me two choices of the meal...

I only understood "chicken"...

haha...so I chose it~

the time difference in Vancouver is slower than in Taipei 15 hours...

so after 11 hours of flight, it's still Jun. 3th in Vancouver..

and when I arrived the Vancouver airport...

it scared me...

toooooooooooo  many people went to Vancouver on that day...

I lined up for customs for a long time,

then went to the Immigration Center for my visa...

spent arrond 2~3 hours there...

when I met my host-mother, it's already 2 pm on Jun. 3th...

and Robyn (host-mother's name) told me,

she was considering to leave..><

and when I was taking my luggages, someone helped me to take it...

but I have no coins to give him...

my luggages are too huge...

they r 29 inchs & 31 inchs...haha~

the first day in Vancouver...

after I arrived my new place...

I was looking for the internet...

but they don't have "real" internet for me...

only can use on the host-father's computer...

but fortunately..haha...

I got the free wifi...

then I can connect to all my fds in Taiwan...

love it !!

it's my first day...

I had just stayed in Canada for 7 months...

so my English skill is not really fluently...

welcome to correct my English...

it's kind of practice to improve my English and record my life in Canada...^_^

haha~ i found my diary on that day, it' so funny~

現在是Vancouver時間6/3傍晚8.48，我在Vancouver

嗚哇...................

 驚險的一天........

 坐了十幾個小時的飛機…

 真的很驚人吶…

 滿回期待的來到

 爹娘語婕霈親都來陪我

 超感動

 坐飛機坐到屁股好痛哦

 但第一次看到飛上雲端的感覺真的還是很讚的

 香港機場真的給他很大吶

 提著我的重行李給他走到腳快斷了

 才找我的閘口

 接著去找吃的  粉想吃拉麵  但又沒人幫忙顧行李真的很無助吶

 最後只好去點了個炸雞吃

 港幣13到底是多少呀，好像跟台灣差不多的樣子

 呼~`他們的套餐也太飽

 一個人根本不可能吃完：

 拿著我的炸雞就去等飛機了…

 坐了十幾個小時  終於到了

 結果那個什麼移民關的排隊等超久的啦

 真不爽…速度也太慢了一點

 害我的homema差點跑掉，氣死妳祖媽…

 而且排在我前面的日本人也太多了一些六個裡有五個拿日本護照

 只有一個怪男看不到他護照

 但我發現她們英文其實都不賴

 好像都不是第一次來了，有個來第四次了

 媽呀  怎麼那麼多凱子女兒呀

 接著提著我嚇死人的超重行李衝到出口

 homema被我的行李嚇到

 他們家的車還真有點小咧

 後車廂只裝的下我一個29吋

 所以我只好跟她兩個小寶貝擠啦…

 一路上我發現哈哈

 溫哥華除了有starbucks以外  還有百視達哦

 哈哈

 我到了國外了耶 oh my god.........

 一到家就開始拼命整理 

 整理完我就跑去問電腦怎麼用

 靠腰  他家是有網路沒錯啦  但是是在他的電腦上  是公司網路

 所以我的notebook不能接：

 我用了一下homeba的電腦  都是英文  連中文網站也全亂碼

 我回房間躺在床上want to cry...........woooo..........

 後來不死心的我  硬把nb拿去偷接他的網路線  還是不行

 就在我一陣亂弄之後   hahahhahhahahah.......得意ing........

 我的5502實在太讚，自己可以連上不用蜜碼的網路了耶…

 就醬我趕緊上線  遇到joyce跟她老公

 嗚~~超感人的啦…這時侯遇見熟人最讓人感動…

 他們本來要出去  還特地留下來陪我亂聊一通…應該是聽我靠腰啦

 哈哈哈：

 因為網路不太穩定，所以斷線後我去攤在床上不想動

 直到吃晚餐

 兩個小寶貝衝上來對我說 dinner time yayayay

 小的好像叫davie 大的叫mike，他爹也叫mike他娘ma什麼的忘了

 看了晚餐我心裡只有一句話  我應該會餓死在他鄉吧

 還好我最後還是有帶泡麵來：

 今天晚餐是：雞塊加白飯加果汁，果汁喝起來應該是蔓越莓汁啦…

 現在都九點多了  天還是超亮的…有黃昏的感覺了啦…

 我這人還是耐不住寂寞…

 硬要用破英文叫mike弟弟陪我去買電源，他講的我聽不懂我講的他也聽不懂

 但我們還是找到我們要的東西了…

 oh.....god.......天氣給他涼涼的…打了兩個噴涕：

 啦啦啦…

 剛偷騙trista我沒來…

 哈哈…

 但我一邊整理行李時

 真的有點想回家說

 什麼都不方便

 到底垃圾桶在啦？！奇怪吶…
